About Us

We would like to introduce ourselves: We are Jim and Jan Hodges from Central Oregon. Our home is filled with love and our hearts are filled with gratitude for the gift of life that God has so graciously given us. We are working diligently to make our days count as children of God, as we continue to learn and grow, working out our salvation daily and walking in a manner pleasing to the Great King. These are certainly our days of grace.

We are empty nesters approaching retirement and seem to fill our days now with the animals we love and have come to greatly admire. It is no wonder with our interest in wildlife that we have such a fascination for the cats with wild blood, by truth or legend, they are a lovely creation and we are honored to share our lives with them.

Both my husband and I are animal lovers. We have enjoyed animals all our lives and are especially intrigued by these mysterious, wild creatures. There are many we share our landscape with including mule deer, ducks, geese, turkey vultures, eagles, terns, osprey, rabbits, coyotes, raccoons, chipmunks, feral cats and even passing cougars. We have created the setting for our acreage to include ponds, running water-falls, lush grass to graze and lots of bushes and growing things for the smaller creatures to use for protection as well as food source.

Jim and I both have artistic bents which we celebrate in several ways: Jim does creative works in stained glass, wood working, metal works, landscape and interior home design while I (Jan) work in various art forms including watercolor, oil, graphite, fabric creations as well as primitive and old country painted signs. I also love to work with Jim in landscape and garden design. We both derive great pleasure in making decorative or useful objects out of discarded resources. We're a good team.

NOTE ABOUT SAVANNAH KITTENS AND PIXIE-BOB KITTENS

As a breeder of Savannah and Pixie-Bob kittens I feel that raising these kittens in the home is imperative to their social development as exotic/domestic pets. Therefore, our kittens are part of our home and handled daily among the busy commotion of day to day life. If you are fascinated with the exotic beauty of the Savannahs, maybe a Savannah kitten would be an exceptional addition to your home and life. If you love the veil of mystery and rugged beauty of the Pixie-Bobs, a Pixie-Bob kitten may become the most devoted and interesting pet you've ever dreamed of owning.
